ATTENTION ALL WALKERS! 2nd Annual Walk-a-thon Fundraiser for India

We are excited to announce the upcoming “Heart of the Matter” 2nd annual walk-a-thon fundraiser on Saturday, May 23rd. We hold several fundraising events each year to support our projects in South India, which includes: The Blind Center in Villupuram, Gypsy Colony in Chennai, Tsunami Widows Ministry, & a Gypsy Colony in Madurai.

Come celebrate with me at a benefit concert I have the privilege of doing on September 26 Friday at 8:00 PM at New Beginnings Covenant Church.
Admission is free!!!! We will be taking a free will offering at the concert the proceeds will go toward our missions trip and outreach to India

For many of us standing in God's wonderful Grace is difficult to do. We are so steeped in Perfectionism in the way we act....look.... feel that we miss out on receiving His loving grace in our lives.

Perfectionism is a thief and a robber, it takes away our right to be our REAL selves. Instead, we try hard to fit the mold of the expectations of others as well as living up to what our society dictates.

Praise God for our 2007 Ministry Love outreach to India !!!!

I had the privilege of having 5 people from Sarasota Florida to team up with Pastor John Willmott and I as we continue to touch the people of India with the love of Jesus.

My dear friends Pastors Ron & Donna Kutinsky and 3 members of their church, Hope International Ministries Sarasota FL. witness an outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

To See the Joy on the Gypsy children's faces as they received clothing and needed supplies truly touched our hearts. To hear the testimonies of the India Pastors who attended our Pastor's conferences was powerful!!!

We rejoice to the Glory of God as we had the honor of dedicating the new well that was put in place at the Karen Woods Love Center for the Blind and Disabled.

Pastor John Willmott baptized our blind brothers and sisters in fresh running well water at the dedication ceremony. I stood in awe of the hunger for God in India. Pastor John Willmott is truly a Pioneer in reaching out to the people of India with a unique approach to evangelism.

Because of your financial gifts of love we are now prepared to:

• Make plans for the construction of the new Love Center for the Blind and Disabled"
• Support more Gypsy children in education
• Continue support for the tailoring Schools for Girls
• Support for training pastors to be equipped to minister to the needs of the people in their congregations
• Support to build a wall around the existing blind shelter to keep out wild animals

With heart felt appreciation and love to you and the people of India, the call to India has changed my life forever.

As a partially Blind person myself I am always amazed at the courage faith and strength of those who are blind and visually impaired in India. There is a joy that is unspeakable because of their passion for God.

These gifted magnificent people are changing their world upside down for Jesus. They convey their gratitude to our friends in the U.S for all that you have sown in their lives.

Thank you for your continued financial support, prayers and love......

Together we are touching the heart of nations with the love of Jesus!!!!

Pushing Past the Distortions

While sitting at a restaurant with one of my Treasured Friends, we were engaging in a heart-to-heart conversation about our experiences growing up.

I explained to Daphne about the difficulties I had in school due to my visual impairment. From grade school through college, I had no other choice but to sit 3 feet directly in front of the chalk board to read the information or to have a classmate take notes for me.

As I have gotten older my vision has deteriorated in both eyes. My central and peripheral vision is now gone. In my world everything I look at is very "distorted."

At an early age knowing what I might face in the future, I had made a decision.....I decided that I can do anything I put my mind to do. I had to push past the distortions in order to walk in my God-given Anointing. I had to look past false perceptions and lay hold to the truth!!!

Whether we may or may not have some physical or emotional impairment the choice is up to us to push past the distortions and lay hold to the calling and plan that God has on your life!!!!
